I'd love the Franklin dictionary/thesaurus that's out on springboard and SD to make one that fits flush with the edge. I could delete Noah and use handspring's aluminum case and I'd be in 7th heaven with a better dictionary, better case and more memory to boot. It'd set me back about $80, but it'd be worth it.

DR--

Have you thought about the 16mb upgrade for your edge? That'll probably be your best option for memory upgrade w/out losing that form factor...

...warranty shamaranty, right?

Thought about it. I'm too dependent on the warranty (if only I were a little gentler with my equipment), and my backup module. The solution I have now is pretty good. I'll get the aluminum case from Handspring and be all set. Then, when/if Franklin comes out with a dictionary that's edge specific, I can just keep that installed in my visor and will remove Noah Pro (advanced light is a great database, but it's doesn't have some of the words I need, whereas my 10th ed M-W collegiate has never let me down the very same one they use for the springboard module).

I'm trying to figure out which dictionary I should go with... my main concern is that it be BIG. I've got lots of disused 17th and 18th century words I have to look up... I hate to cough up cash for a dictionary that's substandard...

Hey, if I come at you with a selection of words, can you post the entries (if they exist) from the M-W? That would be AWESOME!

I'm not going to be your online dictionary, but I'll let you know if they exist and what the definition (paraphrased) is. I'll let you know if they're in Noah Pro's advanced lite, as well.

GREAT! I'm just trying to figure out how extensive it is. You don't really need to post the definitions, just tell me if they're there & if they're worthwhile...

Thankya, I'll get them to you soon..
