Yahoo 'Personal Address' e-mail service - False Advertising?
Under the 'help' pages for Yahoo's 'Personal Address' service that costs US$35pa, it is mentioned that e-mails sent from my personal e-mail address (eg. [email protected], Not [email protected]) will not have yahoo's tagline/promo message at the end of the e-mail sent.
However, after I had signed up for the service & tested it, e-mails sent using my personal address still had the tagline.
Sent a query to Yahoo customer service on this and was told that only 'Business Mail' premium service had no tagline. I have returned an e-mail to them referring them to the help page that proves that this is wrong. I have not heard from them in 3 days.
Yahoo's 'mail plus' service also says that there is no tagline. I have not signed up this service yet.
I'm pretty pissed off about this and seems like false advertising by Yahoo or customer service does not know anything.
Anyone else having this issue?
And if anyone has signed up for the 'Mail Plus' service, can you please tell me if there is a Yahoo tagline/promo message at the end of your e-mails sent?
