Unhappy Visor will not re-boot after battery has gone dead

The batteries in my visor was dead for several days prior to my replacing them. I re-booted the unit and when I attempted to reinstall data, the screen displaying distorted images. I used the reset button several times without aid. The on-off button does now does not work. If I pull the batteries out for several hours I may/may not get a display. When I do get a display it's now simply dark on one half of the screen. The units is about two years old. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Tom

Mine did the same thing, but after being left alone for a couple of days, then placed back in the charger, it was able to come back to life. Of course all data was lost. That's when I got my backup module.

Try doing either a warm (press and hold the up scroll button while pressing and releasing the reset button, then release the up scroll button) or hard reset (press and hold the power button while pressing and releasing the reset button, then release the power button) and see if that works. I have had to do this the few times I've found my batteries dead in the morning and my Visor didn't seem to want to function correctly afterwords. Seems kind of silly, but it seems to clear up the problem.
