One day at a time

I am now at the end of the second day without my Prism. And I'm Okay.

I wondering if can can make it until it gets back from its trip to NJ. Sent it to Tony for a little surgery.

I'm trying to be brave. :-)

Let me know how the withdrawls are. I have been thinking about
doing the same thing. If I don't have it, I may have to start
sucking my thumb! I feel insecure w/o it.

Before you sent it off, you should of bought a brand new Prism and backup module...that way, you have a Prism while surgery is being performed, and you can return it for full refund if he gets it back within 30 days.

Just wrong!

That's just wrong

Why that would be like buying the stowaway from Office Depot, Breaking your prism with it, upgrading your prism to a Clie 615C and then returning your stowaway to Wal-mart.

Wrong, I tell you, just wrong.

What'd make you do such a thing....?

Don't get the Clie 615C to tied you over --- You can enter, but you'll never be able to go back!

Terry,

I thought about it. :-)

But knowing me, I would just keep it instead of returning it.

I got it back on Friday morning (one week after being sent).

After installing some additional software, I now have 8 megs left.

:-)

Glad it worked out. How was the withdrawals? Bad as you thought? Or are you ready to go prismless forever?

I missed it. I missed Avantgo and not being able to read it on the train ride to and from work. I missed the to/do datebook. I was having PC issues (installed 2000 2-3) at work so I didn't even have a back up. I don't wear a watch, so I missed clock pop up.

I had hoped that it would come on Friday, but when I didn't det the email (Tony said he would email when he sent it back) thursday evening I got a little depress thinkiing I would get it Monday. The email came late thursday.

I left for work early, so had to wait until I got home that evening to actually get it.

I finally installed Wordsmith and Documents to go (for excel files) with the extra room. oh yeah installed palmasutra (for educational purposes only), but I'll probably delete it soon.

Also installed eudora.

During the hiatus I did get re-aquianted with my Handheld computing supscription. Had about 3-4 issues to catch up on. :-)

With 16megs on board now, I should have a smooth transition to the color treo this summer.

I like your "educational" excuse...
