When the files were on your Visor, was your Visor's memory almost totally full?

Yes Less than 100k. That makes sense. No room for the VP apps. THANKS

Don't feel bad. I did the same thing last week. After not using my phone for a few weeks, I put it in only to get the fatal error. For a minute I thought Handspring had been taken over by Microsoft, but I finally figured out I didn't have enough memory.

So why hasn't palm figured out that 8 meg isn't enough. Their new i705 only comes with 8 meg & it's NOT color...

I'm confused. The VP runs off it's own module space doesn't it? If not how much of the internal memory does it need? The VP shows it has 7 apps that use 412k of space. After I moved everything to the HS8mb flash I also put 3 of the books on my sons Deluxe. 2 of the books sure aren't for kids. The VP works in the Deluxe with 1.5 mb left. Makes me wonder.

I'm not sure what the minimum is, but I know it blew up when I only had 100k left.
