Unhappy How to Restore Address Book Entries?

A coworker recently let his batteries drain in his Visor DX so that his entire memory was erased. Upon hotsyncing at work, his Contacts list in Outlook was deleted (apparently to match his "empty" address book on his DX).

He has a backup of the old Palm directory files from a hard drive backup. Is there any way to restore his address book on the DX from those files? I figure if he can restore from the files to his DX, he can then have the DX overwrite Outlook to restore his Contacts list.

Any help on how to restore Address Book entries from backup files on the hard drive?

Thanks!

Post Outlook backups

I forgot how I recovered my outlook contacts when I did the same thing. Search this discussion area since others have had the same problem.

Microsoft offers a free download to backup the current outlook *.pst file. I use it in case something happens to the outlook information during a hot sync.
