Cool

Have a look under the battery cover. This little sticker should tell you the serial number. ;-)

If you are referring to the serial number of your Visor, it's at the back of the battery cover.

Those instructions will display the Flash ID of the Palm Device. However Palm Devices that do not have Flash memory do not have a Flash ID. This includes the Palm IIIe, Palm m100, Pilots, Palm Pilots, and the Visors.

Question Oh, REALLY?!?!

I have been trying for hours to get to the updated software for Win2K at the Handspring web site. I TRIED entering the number on the sticker on the inside of the battery case and it keeps taking me back to the SAME page (Please enter your serial number). So that number CAN'T be correct.

Or is there some magic decoder ring? Like leaving off the first letters or adding the illegible symbols painted in white on the edge of the lid?

Cathy

Hmmm, strange - very strange - the number on that sticker is your serial number definitely. Maybe the website has some problems. Wait for one or two days and give it another try or call the support team. They should take a closer look at their website.

Exclamation

I had a problem like this trying to get an update from them. I couldn`t download after I registered. I closed my browser and waited about 10 minutes. After that everything was ok. Try closing your browser and waiting for a few minutes.

Good luck.

Mr. Frigde.

Just make up a number.

ABBEB2200xxxx and replace xxxx with 4 numbers.

I won't give you my numbers, but I will tell you that mine does work. And I think I've made up something and that worked too.
