Question Wireless Ethernet Module and speed

I hooked up a wireless lan yesterday and it seems to work ok, but even though I am connecting through a cable modem, downloads on the Visor seem slow. How would I determine which component is the bottleneck? It could be the Wireless Access Point, Internet Gateway, the springboard module, or my Visor Prism. I don't have any other wireless computers on the lan yet.

Thanks.

Jeff

What are you comparing the speeds to? Another Visor? Or a PC? The speeds vs. a PC will definitely be slower, as the Springport (if that's what you're using) actually uses the serial interface on the Visor. So you're never going to approach anything like 11 MB or whatever.

I would have to reccomend that your problem is the Prism itself. Your internet connection seems to be very quick, and the connection to the wirless hub is probably also very quick. Once the data gets to the visor it starts to slow down. The processor in your Prism is no where near as fast as the one in your desktop, thus it takes a tad bit longer to render the pages correctly.
