My experience is that when I restored the Visor after deleting some contacts is that the databases were replaced but everything else was the same (even though the backup was from the day before and I had added a couple of new programs and hacks since). So I am not sure what exactly it does. I had thought that it would erase all the information on the Visor and then Restore whatever was on the backup module.
