Hi, sorry for another post. But I really need help. When I was about to push the BUY button, I realized that I haven't picked up a color for my Visor Deluxe. Deciding to go with the Visor isn't difficult. But picking a good color is a pain. I know color choice is really a subjective issue. However, I want to know if you guys have any regrets getting the color you don't want.

Colors I hate: Green, Graphite, Orange.

So, Blue and Ice are the only ones left.

Ice looks "cooler" than all the chips make the Visor look cheap. Blue seems to be better but it's pink blue not dark blue.

hmm...any comments?

Cool

Keep in mind that the green circuit board inside the Visor makes the Ice Visor look greenish.

If you dislike green, you might be happier with blue.

If possible go look at them at a CompUSA store. The colors seem different to me than the color seen on internet site, unless you're looking at them in bright sunlight. I got blue but if could do over again think would get ice or green.

If you go to www.amazon.com they show the colors ranked by sales.

I own a Graphite Visor. My reasons at the time were (1) it looks more professional, (2) more Springboard modules would be color compatible with it and (3) I was (am) tired of the fad for translucent plastics. The first reason is irrelevant if you hate Graphite, the second reason has largely proven wrong (modules are coming in other colors, usually Blue and Ice), and the third reason is also irrelevant if you like those colors. I would recommend Blue, since it's currently the most popular color for the Visor -- so you should have the least amount of trouble with finding color-compatible modules.

Cool

I contemplated for many days (too long) on which color also. I think the color is important as this is what people will first see when you pull it out of the case in public. Maybe to some people this doesn't matter but it does to me. I was torn between the Graphite, Blue and Ice. I reluctantly decided to go with Graphite since I wanted to look as professional as possible while using it at work.
After having numerous fatal errors with my Graphite deluxe I decided to act on my warrantee and returned it to CompUSA with "no questions asked". On a whim I decided to go with the new one in ICE. I am so glad I did as this one just looks cool! The light green that shows around the outer edges of the screen is kind of jade and it enhances the overall look.
Hey, at least we have these options unlike the Palms...

P.S. USB, If I were you I would definitely buy from one of the retail stores that are selling them even if it means driving some miles. CompUSA worked out great for me.

Thanks, however, CompUSA is a hundreds of miles away from my home. I live in Vancouver, BC Canada. I don't see Visor selling anywhere in my hometown.

So, online retailer is my only choice.

I bought the blue Visor Deluxe. I hope it's good. Actually, I am worry about the color not because of how the visor will look in the public but how the color may affect the visibility of the screen.

Got a Blue, it's the best!! Anyway, I don't see how the color of the case is going to effect the visibility of the screen. Don't fret over that. My wife has a green and there is no difference in screen visibility between by blue and her green.

Thumbs up

I got ICE 'cause it matches my iMac. I know it's goofy. I like being able to see the inside, and I really like to soft teal color from the green circuit board inside.

Blue is still my favorite. When I need to be more professional, I just keep it in my E&B Slipper case.

I also have the Handspring plastic holster, but it does not look right with the blue Visor (especially with a black Springboard module installed).

I had an Ice Deluxe but switched for a graphite. Graphite is much more professional while the Ice looks like the really cheap plastic in toys for kids. Now if only they come in brushed gun-metal aluminum...

I really wanted the orange until I saw it it looked more washed out and yellow to me so I went with blue and I love it

Talking

Ice For Me!

I think that it is both COOL and professional. Graphite is boring and the colors look like gameboys IMO.
