I found a company that sells travel chargers (auto and ac) for the VDX and Platinum - yep, the VDX and Platinum. I haven't ordered one yet, next paycheck. Here is the link:

I have been using this product for about a month, and I am very happy with it. Beats going through all those AAAs.

Thanks for the heads up. I read the review. Have you received the extension to allow charging in the cradle?
