Question VFS software for selfmade Visor CF adapter

I have question regarding the selfmade CFAdapter for the Visor as described on www.kopsisengineering.com .
I built the adapter and everything seems to work fine with FAFileMover and CFCardInfo. But programs that use VFS such as FileCaddy, CSpotRun, Acrobat Reader do not recognize the CF card. The problem is that Palm OS 3.5 does not support VFS. But I would like to test it with some VFS capable software to see if it's worth buying a bigger CF card.
Question: is there any way to test the adapter with freeware or trial/demo software that enables VFS before buying the Kopsis FlashAdapter Classic software? I couldn't find a free/demo download or evaluation software on their site.
Any hints or links?

(I use HS Visor Neo Palm OS 3.5.2H3.0 with modified PCMCIA adapter card for a 16mb CF card (no name))
Thanks in advance
Urs

Kopsis is the only one that will work with self made adapters IIRC. I use a Matchbook drive with the Kopsis drivers and things seem to work fine.

Usually tha only time you run into problems is if the developer decides that they should use the Palm OS version (i.e. less that 4.0) to determine if the handheld has VFS capabilities. Most developer do not do this, but I am sure there are a few that do.

Some software that I use with no problems are:

  • Launcher III / X
  • BackUpBuddy VFS
  • Shadow Plan
  • WordSmith
  • Noah Lite
There are others, I just don't recall off the top of my head. These are the ones I use regularly.

I don't recall what the price is for the flash adapter software, but it does what it says and is worth the money.
