Question

Just had my first total crash of my BVd. Took me 35 minutes to restore all my add-on programs. I know about backupbuddy and the backup module (Now I do! And the backup module is ordered.) Can I add, for instance, hackmaster and my hacks and IrLink and IrPrint to the backup folder on my laptop? If I do will I then be able to restore them after another crash. I guess I am asking what is the function of the backup folder on my desktop and whether or not I should mess with it.
Thanks,
Jon Bekenstein

I suppose you could do it that way for a restore after a crash, or you could just install the unrestored files as normally.

But since you're buying a backup module, it's kind of moot. However, it can't hurt to run Backup Buddy as well, since its always nice to have a secondary backup if your files are important.
