I live in Europe, a friend of mine is doing a trip to Washington DC next month, so I asked him to bring me back a Magellan GPS companion springboard module for my Visor.
Question: where is the best place to look for this thing in the Washington area?
Any advice appreciated...
Thanks in advance.

I purchased mine from the CompUSA in Fairfax. I first called the 800 number and had them check availability at the different locations. They came up empty at 4 other locations before they hit at that store. This was 4 weeks ago, so you should have your friend run through the same routine.
It's well worth the money...enjoy!

Thanks for the advice.
I've also found that some sites (e.g bestbuy.com) let you place an order and have the product delivered at the store of your choice. Unfortunately, you have to pick it up within 7 days after you receive a confirmation email, and that would be too risky.

I got mine at Staples at Bailey's Crossroads (Arlington County, VA by DC) last Thursday - they had one left. You might check the http://www.staples.com web page - there are lots of Staples around DC.
