Question

Does anyone know when exactly the visors are coming to Europe? Handspring's site says early next year, but that's not good enough for me. See, I need to be able to count down the days on my gigantic wall calendar. (Am I sounding obsessed? Damn Skippy!!)

hey vic,

There are allready some visors in Europe...

check out this posting: http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...TML/000872.html

The trick is to have a friend who lives in the US and let the Visor be shipped to them and then ship it to europe...

Also next year (only 11 days to go) handspring will ship internationally..

Where do you live?

Question

Are you sure about 11 days? If so, I'll wait... (I was thinking about ordering it to my american relative's shipping address but they need the billing address to be in US, too :-( ).
11 days to go... Maybe I'll be the first Visor user in Poland? :-)

Hmmmm. I'm not sure if you are right about them coming to Europe ( I live in Brussels, Belgium) in exactly 11 days. The handspring site says SOMETIME early next year, but I don't want to wait another 4 months to get my grubby little mitts on this beauty! Anyway, I just can't believe how (relatively cheap these are, compared to the Palm V. Over here, the latter cost the equivalent of about 450 US$!!! How can Palm live with itself? It's about time a challenger showed up. (Not counting Microsoft CE devices uhhh.. I mean "Microsoft powered" devices...)
