Visor Edge Stylus

Not to knock the edge stylus, It's a very ergonomic and adds that 'oomph' to the look of the edge, but are there ANY replacement stylus that fits in the docking mechanism? ANY at all???

Personally, I jsut want a floating point stylus that docks to the side of the edge. It can still be cylindrical, not curvy, just as long as it clips in securely.

Agreed. Well, with a longer wishlist...

I'd like to see a Pentopia Chameleon for the Edge. Secure fit, spring tip, pen, and reset pin, just like the other Chameleons.

I'm Very curious what the heck that sprocket cap thingy he used to get that stylus onto the edge... Looks promising.. Any ideas?

That's not a new stylus.

What the article says is that if you're missing a reset pin (because the Edge stylus doesn't have one). Then you can use the pen from a Sony Clie. Not complicated, basically it says, that if you use a small thin file (or something like that) you can shape the plastic end (top bit) to fit the Edge stylus socket.

How easy it is to file it to fit? I don't know.. anybody got a spare Clie stylus and try it out?

Ask them what finish it's going to have also. Thanks.

I got the email back about the reset pin.

they said "Most likely a reset ping"

Looks like they haven't gotten a solid production model yet if the reset is "most likely"..

I'm not going to ask them about the finish cause i doubt they'll have a concrete answer about that..

At least it gives us something to look forward too.
