Exclamation

CompUSA has 32 meg CF modules for $32 after rebate. This is a pretty good price for all you matchbook SB owners!

I'm not familiar with CF cards. Why does it come with a cable? Why USB enable? Will this card work with the InnoPocket module adapter? Are all CF cards the same? Is there a special PC reader for it? At what price?

Thanks

Al

My MatchBookDrive Adapter instruction Sheet says, ". . . Most Lexar CF Cards are not compatible, although newer 64 MB Lexar cards appear to be compatible." Pity.

Yeah, I saw that on the CompUSA web site and ALMOST went down and bought it. Then I looked at the compatability list and saw that it's not compatable. Damn!

I just got my Matchbookdrive adapter in the mail the other day and am itching to find a good price on a compact flash card.

If you find a good price, post it here. I just got my adapter, but no CF, and it's driving me NUTS

www.cititronics.com has 32Mb Butterfly CF cards at $45 plus $8 for shipping. Ebay auctions have recently had Sandisk 32Mbs at $46-50 plus shipping. Good Luck.

Amazon.com has the 48MB RCA (Sandisk) Compact Flash card for $79.88. I have one working with the Matchbookdrive, no problems at all.

Unhappy

Sorry folks, I didn't realize that some CF cards weren't compatible with the matchbook SB. I just assumed that CF had a standard that all cards met.

Talking

I was able to go on ebay and get a 32mb Butterfly CF card for only $39 plus shipping. It works great with my Matchbook drive.
