I bought a Visor Deluxe, but am planning to return it for a Palm III unless I get some help. Several things are happening that are pretty wacky. One, when I turn the Visor on, it often powers up in some locked up state, but after I hit on a few more times, it usually works fine. Two, I often, at seemingly random times, get anywhere from one to many horizontal black lines across the screen. Three, it doesn't respond to commands right. Touching Home with the stylus will pull down the menu. It's almost like the software doesn't know where I am on the screen.

I've tried several hard resets, but the problems stay/return.

HELP!

Are you using any hacks? Are you *sure* it's locked, or could it just be taking a long time to "boot"? Maybe hitting the power button several times is unrelated?

I thought I once saw other people mention this problem here on VC, but I can't find it in several searches.

Have you tried running the Prefs app and selecting "digitizer" from the menu on the top right? This should prompt you to click 3 points, and it should align the screen to your penstrokes.

Good luck!
