Is it possible for VC to set the default Email Notification option on posts to unchecked? I know it can easily be unchecked by the user, but I tend to forget, then find VC-related emails in my inbox that I think are private messages from individual VC members.

Just edit your profile
You can now control that in your profile. The very last item is Use 'Email Notification' by default with a Yes/No option.

You can set that option in your preferences.

How weird is that, that Mark and James posted the same reply to the same question at exactly the same time? (No, I don't know why I noticed, I just did.)

My only problem with that is this: I don't want to get notifications of every post on the board, but IO do want to get the news letter. Marcus or James please help!

They are two seperate things:
This will be for the e-zine:
Allow Bulletin Board Administrators and Moderators To Send You Email Notices?
This if for notification:
Use 'Email Notification' by default
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

Anyone else noticed that the email messages
don't bother to include a pagenumber on the
link, which is a real annoyance...
