I just read in another thread that Card Access may be releasing their Thinmodem with more memory, but I can't find any hard details anywhere... Can someone tell me what exactly the "Thinmodem+" will be and some kind of release date? I was planning to get a Thinmodem for Christmas, but would definitely wait if the memory was sufficient and the price were right!

The Thinmodem+ was announced at COMDEX. It will be a Thinmodem with 8mb of flash RAM. Anticipated release is January 2001. CardAccess hasn't posted any details as of yet on their website.

Talking That's awesome!

That's awesome, MarkEagle... Thanks for the info.

Even better, that would eliminate my need for an Innogear 6pack... I really only wanted one for the modem and memory. Looks like I can have both in one module much sooner than Innogear can provide!

And last time I checked Vaporgears site they are no longer stating how much memory will be included in their 6-pack.

Innogear

(shaking head in disgust)

Yep, Innogear just can't seem to get it together on this module for some reason. It has been the one I've waited for. They have apparently done a great job with the MiniJam, but I just don't need an MP3 player.
