Yes, I can't get Win2k (RC2) to recognize the USB driver. It appears to be Win98 compatible only.

Damn. Hopefully they'll get it fixed in RC3 which should be out this week.

Thumbs down

And so the great beta test which Microsoft calls Win98 continues. Microsoft will never learn!

Your USB problem has nothing to do with Handspring. If you want to vent then vent against Microsoft. Lord knows there are enough reasons to vent against Microsoft. This adds one more.

Also, I recently read a quote on the Microsoft web page that said (I'm paraphrasing):
"Windows 2000, formerly known as Nt 5.0 will not be supporting USB". So the only Microsoft OS that will support USB correctly is 98.

Where did you read that? I was just at a Microsoft conference and they were touting the USB capabilities. We're running RC2 here and it works great, just not 100% yet. RC3 is due this week, so hopefully we'll see it by next week.
