cancelling hotsync
Sometimes hotsynch will get hung up, i.e. it won't finish, and I need to manually cancel it. Although there is a button for cancelling it on the visor and the desktop and the systems respond to the button by announcing they are cancelling and that it might take several minutes, nothing gets cancelled on either system no matter how long you wait.
The only way I've found to cancel is to remove the visor from the cradle, i.e. interrupt the connection, to get it to stop "Cancelling."
On my Win2K desktop, I have to manually end the processes, HotSync and Outlook (which is running as a background process rather than as an application), with task manager.
Anyone know a better way?
