Cool SMS services?

Using a cell phone, I was never hip on the idea of SMS. However, since I received my Visorphone, I've found SMS to be a pretty cool service. I use Yahoo to send me alerts about the weather, news, and when my sporting teams play (go BYU!).

Anyone know of good SMS info providers other than Yahoo and MSN? I took a look at Commblox, but it seems too confusing for my needs.
