...which is to say, it looks horrible. Plus, this is sure to draw a lawsuit from litigation-happy RIM, who seems to be suing anyone who dreams of putting a thumbboard on a handheld device.
Between this shot and the (rumor)picture of the Zire posted yesterday, I don't have high hopes for the high-end OS5 model, whatever it ends up being called. If it's based on the Oslo design, then what's the point?

Yeah, it's a shame it's been a while (since the V) that Palm has really brought out something that invokes that jaw-dropping awe that techno gadgets are designed to elicit.
Update: Actually, the Tungsten T model actually looks somewhat sharp: http://www.palminfocenter.com/view_Story.asp?ID=4192 And it does have a lot of neat features. I'm thinking OS5 is going to go a long way toward closing the feature gap with the PPCs.
