Got my Deluxe Back

Well, about a year ago, I bought a Visor Prism and gave my Dad my Ice Visor Deluxe, in the hopes that he would use it and love it.

Then, a couple months ago I got a CLIE760 as replacement for my Prism and showed it to my Dad. So, he ordered him one from Dell. It came in this week and I got it all set up last night.

Now, I have my trusty old VisorDeluxe back. Finally something to do with all the old modules I have. Not to mention my Stowaway for Visors.

It is pretty cool getting it back after all this time. Not really sure why, but there is just something nostalgic about it.

It will be interesting to see how much you actually play with the old visor deluxe. I upgraded to a prism fairly recently and still have my deluxe, but when I show it to others or look at someone elses black and white (read green) screen, I am eternally grateful for my prism. Maybe it hasn't been long enough for me look on it with nostalgia How do you like your Clie?

I absolutely love my CLIE. It is awesome. Once I got my Prism, I knew color was the way the only way to go, particularly for reading text. But, when my Dad ordered his CLIE, I was so excited to be getting my Deluxe back.

I have spent all weekend rebuilding it. It is kind of like my backup device. I have it setup to sync with a different computer and have all my information in it. I guess the main reason I wanted it back was all my accessories. I have a Stowaway, MemPlug, EyeModule, ThinModem, and Backup Module for it. I also have the MW Dictionary Module and the Franklin Bible Module.

It is just really cool to have back, being my first PDA and all.
