Well I was not trying to make my original post too long. However my first call was to Verizon, we tried several things, they sent me to Handspring who said "it's not our cable or software, sorry" who sent me back to Avantgo, who sent me to Sundail who said "Sorry we do not have a help desk for this sort of thing"....
It's been a support nightmare...
I agree that the phone saying "--Hand Free--" is most likely not the message I want. If I ever get someone from Avantgo to call me instead of e-mailing me the same question over and over again, I might make headway
