Question

Anyone have a Vaja Prism Magnet Case yet? I ordered one early this week
and they just told me they don't have any in right now and it will be
at least another week before they have them. Anyway if you do have
the magnet case what do you think of it? I've heard there have
been problems with the cover staying closed.

Did you look to directcases.com to see if they have it? They are Vaja and charge no tax or shipping.

Directcase.com only carries ones for platinums and deluxes right now.
If they carry something else it isn't posted on their web site.

Directcase emailed me to tell me that they have the Prism cases on order.

I just ordered my Prism magnetic closure case direct from Vaja on Wednesday night. Received notice yesterday that it had shipped. I know that some of the leather colors were listed as having a delay but the tan seems to be in stock.

That's odd I ordered one direct from vaja Wednesday afternoon at like 12:00 EST and
asked them the next day if they had a tracking number and they said
that they weren't going to have any in until the end of next week. The case
I ordered was the Tan one they show most of the pictures.

Did you order with or without the belt clip?

That could be the difference. I ordered one without the clip.

Me too!! I'll be interested to see if you get it today.
I was told by someone else that they overnight
all of there cases that is why it costs so much to ship.

They emailed me a tracking number. The UPS site indicates that the package is in transit and was sent via their International Express service. I believe that the delivery time on this is 2 business days, although the site says that it could come in one business day.

I'm thinking it will arrive Monday since I still don't see a scan for it entering the U.S.

Smile

Received my Vaja Prism case today. So far I love it. I'll love it even more if/when the leather stretches out and conforms so that it is not as puckered around the sync contacts and buttons.

Nice soft leather and the magnetic closure works nicely. A very classy case.

I got the tan leather. It looks a bit darker than it appears in the pictures on the site though.

Just sent a message to Vaja customer service to ask about the fit. From what I've read here it takes a little while for the leather to stretch out and conform but I wanted to get their "official" answer.

I have the black leather magnetic closure prism belt clip case. I have had it for about 3 weeks. I am very pleased with its appearance and functionality. The puckering that was mentioned around the hotsink port has gotten better but has not gone away.

Changed my order yesterday to the Tan leather since the tan and green nubuck is backordered
still. I should have it by Friday. I'll be sure to let you all know what I think of it.

I have had the black leather mag-closure case for about a month now and I really like the quality and look of my case. It has actually "broken in" and the fit is better than when I first got it. I only have 2 problems.

1. the soft reset hole is not aligned with the case hole, but I usually have no problem soft-reseting because I have a CrashHACK installed.
2. There is a slight puckering of the leather around the hotsync hole (same as mentioned above by Frank)

I also have no problems with the magnetic cover closing.
