When will palm or any of their licensees a palm with 320x320 as well as true 16 bit color?

Well, sony has their 320 screen and Handspring as 16-bit color, so I suppose it is just a matter of time.
As to when, well, you'd have to ask Handspring or one of the Palm Licensees yourself.

the m505 is using the same LCD screen as the Clie. Not sure how that works.
