Tablet PC's

Lately I've seen a lot of articles on tablet PC's.
The thing I find most Ironic is that where PDA's seem to move towards keyboards for input, Tablet PC's go back to styli...
have we made a full circle?

Personally I prefer a keyboard over a stylus for text input, but I see the tablet PC having potential. Especially drawing works a lot better with a stylus instead of a mouse..

Do files get embarrassed when they get unzipped?

Well some of these tablet pcs actually have keyboard attachments top turn them into full fledge laptops. I don't see how a keyboard could be added to the tablet itself -- it would be unwieldly to use.

All in all I think the Tablet PC will be a nice gadget when it is a quarter of the price it is now.

Some come with a dockingstation so they become a desktop too...
You can hook up an USB keyboard to most of them but you obviously loose the portability then...

I kinda see them as the new thing in laptop technology..
