Unhappy

I accidentally dropped my visor and the screen got cracked. Anyone out there have an idea how much it would cost to have it repaired?

Also, my friend has a Palm IIIx and its already broke (not screen related). Is it possible for me to put his Palm IIIx screen in my Visor as replacement? Just an idea i have...any comments will be appreciated...

thanks.

Previous posts have indicated that Handspring will replace the first screen for free. Thereafter it's $79.

I dropped my Visor back in February and Handspring replaced it at no charge. They had a new one in my hands within 10 days and paid for the shipping both ways.

Just call up Handspring CS and tell them your situation. I'm betting they'll take good care of you.

thanks guys for the feedback. i already contacted HS and they informed me that they will replace my unit for free, including shipping both ways. Now, this is what I call customer service. You are right, Marfu, they do take care of their customers very well.

Hey, Marfu, how's the replacement unit they sent you? I assume the unit they will send as replacements are not really "new". But is it okay? does it look and feel like a real brand new unit?

I can't wait to receive my replacement unit.
