Question Users that are under 18 and don't have jobs: How did you finance your Visor

See the question above. Personally I used money in my bank account (collected via years of X-Mas gift money saved up+allowance and odd jobs) to pay for my Vdx back in July. I had to convince my dad I'd get use out of it after I said I wanted one. Then lucky for me he went along with it and one of his co-workers had an unopened refurb that I purchased off of her for $100. I have since used my allowance money to register WordSmith and AtomSmash, plus purchase an Innopack 2/V.

Well, I had a birthday party with like 30 friends, and suprisingly all of them brought cash, like $10 each, so I put that with about $100 of my allowance and bought my Platinum and Modem. I saved up some more and bought my GoType.

Well, surprishingly, even if your under 18, you can get a job. I have ben working since I was 15. My first job was in a resturaunt washing dishes that made me about 1500 in one summer. My second job was actually working for my HS technology departement, paying a whopping 50 dollars a week.. Although not much, it was enough to pay for my expensive buying habits . My third job is in conjunction with the HS job, except this one is for the Town Hall, as the network administrator. My last job, and not very much a structured job is private tech work. Charging 50 to 75 an hour, I can make enough to buy a visor in a day.

All you got to do is look. There are many people looking for kids to work with computers in their company.

Maybe one day when I'm bored I will go out and find a job then. I'm only 14 so I've only been doing freelance computer fixing for people.
