Geez Hoser, looks like you scared James.

Having survived 7 years at Apple, it was not a surprise to see their stock tank. It was only a matter of time before the "glow" of Steve's return wore off. The iMac was inspired, but the Cube looks like a Kleenex box...The drop shows how fragile the belief of investors is. I haven't spoken to any of my friends remaining at Apple, but morale must suck right now.

Brought back some tears to my eyes, visions of worthless stock options... Those were the days, now I'm going to have nightmares...

Let's hope they rebound quickly.

reason why HAND IS DOWN

hand is down because august marketshare was 15% down from 25% marketshare!!loss to the new Ipac and new lowend palm model...But september bings CELLPHONES,PAGERS,2 MP3 PLAYERS,EYEMODULES IN THE STORES SOOOOOO.... SEPT THRU JAN COULD SEE INCREASE IN % AND SALES$$$ BUT ANYONE WHO BOUGHT IN AT $30 OR SO SHOULD TAKE PROFITS NOW AND WAIT FOR THE DIP AND BUY BACK IN.

In regular type no caps! two ten point drops back to back wow i guess i was wrong? I bought hand in the ipo and own a visor and every springboard I can get my hands on but...if i see the charts sending the stock lower, and point it out to the group I become public enemy #1 then I will keep my opinion and the $30,000.00+ I made selling(not shorting !) close to the top 3 times to myself! When i get back in as I will when the charts tell me my lips are zipped! I dont want to make any waves this board is great and i have enjoyed being a member but....It seems that as a member i should not voice my opinon unless it is the same as yours? Don't be bitter I to missed many tops in the market and also felt that "I missed it again felling you have in the pit of your stomach".. live and learn.

Do you ever raise your voice to make a point??? well all caps is the way to stress a point via typed expression!(I was on the net when 300 baud was fast,and caps were ok then too..) sorry if it offended some people here but its the way I make a point. besides who are you guys to decide what it is I am doing when I type a post? last time I checked here in the USA we are free to express our opinions quietly or loudly so please dont call me a yahoo poster, or spammer, etc...

thesmith ~ we are on the same wavelength about the stock. I for one would like to continue to bat around thoughts about dips and such. I plan on getting back in soon as I feel we are back at baseline...probably around 30's somewhere. At the moment it looks like I may be jumping back on soon...that's a good thing as I want in before the Xmas season.

Thoughts?

is what i was ' feeling'? considering that i made myself a handsome amount over this stock last week aswell (before the drop)

Ok, your funny??? And I tend to over react when my hard work and observations becomes a joke to you... Again today down it went(Hand) WOW that must be real funny to all the people that just bought in between 54-81 ha ha ha right?? Some people can't understand how they lost $25 per share or big $$$$$$ in three days..I tried to express my opinion "take your quick profit and sit on the side lines till you can get back in with a profit!" (JUST AS YOU SAID YOU DID HA HA HA TO THEM RIGHT?)
Where was your concern for fellow visor owners and shareholders when you sold? I took the time to post MY OPINION to help fellow visorcentral members. And as a board insider I would think you should care about the members not just MAKING A JOKE OF A REAL SITUATION. I hope more people on this board will stand up and support my right to my own opinons, as well as your right to make a joke out of my opinons..
An I agree this issue is over $81 to $52!!!! I was right, as funny as it sounded or looked to you. So ha ha ha to the poor suckers that could have made some money quick right? we will just drop this topic OK? so why not remove the stock tracker from the website if no one thinks investing topics are an important part of Visorcentral.

Ok guys, let's get back to the point. I would like any input I can get on the stock angle as the more information we can accumulate, the better chances of making Handspring profitable (and ourselves) My personal opinion is that with the depressed tech arena, the quarterlies forced the big boys to find unique niche to bump up their portfolios. HAND was such an overlooked stock. My next personal opinion is that HAND will probably drop some more but more than likely not to the levels that it was stuck at since the drop after the IPO. The announcements of the two new units and the phone SB certainly contributed, but I'm counting on the XMAS season to drive PDA stocks up. I'm no expert but since VC members are well ahead of the tech curve and we can see what's coming, I'd like to bat around thoughts as to what other's feeling are and we might get a better feel for the lows/highs.

THOUGHTS?
