Hi! I am going to be overseas for several months and thus am concerned about having a portable backup. Does the Backup Module back up EVERYTHING (ie, not just the standard address, names, todo's, etc) but also 3rd party stuff (like medical software, things like HandDBase, etc). In short, is it like BackupBuddy or just like hitting "Computer overrides Handheld" on your home computer?
Thanks,

Backup module backs up everything in 8 meg.

Backup module backs up everything in 8 meg. whether you want it to or not! All inclusive. Super simple best way to backup without a HotSync. $40 very well spent. Does shorten battery life - always carry extra AAA's.

An observation re: a SBM's affect on battery life

Most of the SBMs that I've used, when installed or activated, seem to draw down the battery meter almost instantly. This may alarm you; but, assuming that you were not already running near empty, the battery meter will usually spring back after you remove the SBM (obviously it may not return to 100% depending on what the SBM was doing and how long it was active). In the case of the Backup SBM, the hit is not as dramatic as a modem SBM; but it is still noticeable.
