Cool junkyard wars

anyone catch junkyard wars on Monday 6-25-01, while designing under water submersibles, one of the team members broke out the ice blue visor deluxe to accomplish some calculations. assuming he was using the advanced mode that doesnt come standard on palm units.

It did look like a blue visor.

That was neat seeing a Visor on TV. Too bad the show was a re-run (and, well, the thread is too):

I want to know when a new season is going to be on. I know that the British TV season is different than on this side of the pond, but the last one I saw was the 2000 season championship. Where's the 2001 season? I just wish that some rich producer would see that this is every bit as good (more likely, better) than "Millionaire" or "Weakest Link" and translate it to American soil, so we can have more episodes.

Post Robotica

Another good one is Robotica, though not as good as JYW. It features battling remote control robots. But there are a bit too many moving lights and too much dramatic music. One of Frank Zappa's kids hosts it.
I think it's on the same network as JYW.

well man...you should KNOW that...

It is a cool show though. So it is a Brit show then? I was just asking my roommate about that the other day.

Nothing personal was meant by my comments, I can assure you. I was just "venting". I guess I forgot my emoticons again...

Actually, though, if you are a producer for "Junkyard Wars" and/or BBC, go ahead and take it personally. When are we going to see a new season? I had seen that episode twice before, yet I watched it all again. If they run the series again, I'll watch it one more time. I find the whole concept fascinating and it's a very enjoyable program.

Ah, the squeeky wheel gets the grease. I saw a commercial during "Robotica" last night for a "special edition" Junkyard Wars next Wednesday. VisorCentral gets the job done again!
