USB Hotsync not working!

Question

hey-

since this wednesday gone, my Visor won't Hotsync with my pc through the USB cradle.
i tried removing and re-installing the Palm software but to no avail.

does anybody have any solns please?!

thanks to all those who at least took the time to read my question above.

frustrated, i went to handspring.com and there, the online tech faq's advised me to perform a soft reset (press the 'reset' button in the back of visor; no data will be lost) and to try hotsync again.
it worked.
win98 then recognized the new hardware being installed, basically my usb cradle and voila! i'm back in business.
