You'll need a browser (Avantgo or Blazer) an e-mail program (Eudora) and a phone with data capability AND bluetooth!

Further, you'll need a mobile account with data access.

Have a look on http://www.primatesystems.com for a couple of Ericsson phones with bluetooth...

I have a Red-M and a bluetooth phone, the Module comes with the eudora internet suite in flash (along with some sms and phone dialing utils).

I added blazer as I prefer it to the eudora browser.

I haven't used bluetooth to connect to a pc yet as I haven't bought an adapter for the pc yet, but all you should need is the dongle and software to run a pppd on the bluetooth on the pc. This should be fairly simple with Linux or Mac OSX, and I think I've seen adapters with windows 'bluetooth lan' functionality which would do the same.

Bluetooth and GPRS phones

When connecting a bluetooth equipped visor to a bluetooth GPRS phone, can you run most standard TCP software, ex. Telnet?

If the telco provide IP on the connection, yes...

I use my Vodafone NZ connection with Eudora e-mail, Blazer browser, ICQ Palm client, and telnet.

Some GPRS will allow only WAP to be used. Ask your telco first!

Ummm, thanks for all the answers BUT. Maybe I wasn't real clear. What I want to do it use the prism to surf at home throught the computer. And I needs to fit in my rhino case. So I thought Bluetooth would be the way to go. I've seen the Xcom thing but it's WAAAAY to big.. Mostly I want to so with one computer my wife and I can still look at the sites we want at the same time.

Thanks

In this case, besides the Visor things we discussed so far you'll need a Bluetooth adapter for your computer. I use a TDK USB. check http://www.primatesystems.com they have it there.
