Well, how 'bout it, Mini-Jam owners? I know it's proprietary, I know you have to always use your Visor and its battery, but is it worth it with this discount? Also, can you buy more than one card and swap them, thereby having more music available??

All things considered, truthfully speaking, I tend to use my portable (CD based) mp3 player a lot more..

The minijam has two mmc slots, each can take a 64 meg mmc giving about 2 hours of mp3 music. The chips are easily changed, in fact that is my one complaint with my minijam, having accidentally lost one of my mmc chips. I know keep a piece of tape over each slot to prevent them from coming out without my knowledge. The only other problem I have had was with Sandisk mmc cards. I am currently using "Mr. Flash" chips from newegg.com and they work fine.

Gotta agree is EricG, for the same money as a 64Mb MiniJam you can get 10X the storage with a cd-based MP3 player. For 2X the money you can get 40X the storage with any of the 20Gb disk-based players out there. Plus, given Innogear's less-than-stellar history as recorded on these here boards, I certainly wouldn't buy anything from them.

If you're willing to wait a few weeks, I'll make you a better deal. Ice Minijam, 2 - 64meg Sandisk MMCs, and the Innopocket SpeedLoader for $150 with UPS Ground shipping in the continental US. (I've got the CD, probably have the pouch, and will have to remember which headphones came with it)

I love mine but I've switched to a Clie. Right now I use my Platinum solely for the MiniJam and AudibleAdvisor on the bus or at the gym. Soon, I'll be switching to the new RioRiot, which will be Audible compatible.

Also, thanks for all replies. I guess I like the idea of not having an entirely new gadget to lug around, which makes this so attractive. As far as Innogear, wasn't the main problem the (I shudder to speak its name) Six Pack?
