Talking

combine the $50 dollar rebate with a $40 of $200 purchase coupon at staples.com and your looking at $90 off with free shipping

Post order now?

Interesting...Amazon is advertising the rebate offer now, but the rebate terms say offer good beginning 3/4/01. What happens if one orders a VDX from Amazon today, 3/1/01? Does one still get the rebate?

For a Limited Time

I get a kick out of the "For a Limited Time" gimmick in the computer industry. The deal is "For a Limited Time" until they finally reduce the retail cost.

I used a $40 Staples online coupon to get one for my father last week, so with the $50 rebate my landed cost will be $160+tax (free shipping too).

I bought the old man a Graphite so it wouldn't be confused with my Ice.

Still beats the hell out of the Palm IIIxe or Palm M105.

hello!

i saw the info about target and the staples coupon on another board last night! i called target (in san diego) and was told it was 199 without a rebate!!!!!

soooo i called staples.com to order one price matched and they did it! then i did the 40.00 coupon (had to add a cute little pencil cup to bring the order up to/over $200.

i'm paying 174, that includes paying tax! free overnight shipping, the pencil cup and i get to mail in the $50 rebate! YEE HAW!!!!

i just received a visor deluxe from amazon.com last week cuz i though it was a good deal from them (248, no tax, no shipping, then the rebate!) well i will be returning the one to amazon.com tomorrow! even with paying return postage... i'm saving about $120.00!!!!!!

i'll keep my case and styli when i receive them from amazon.com on thursday... haven't found them cheaper elswhere!

i love when i can get good info from bulletin boards and save money!!!!
