I'm working on creating animated .gif's, and I found some over at dvdtalk (blasphemy!). I hijacked this one and photoshopped (photodeluxed actually) my face onto each frame and reanimated it. I emailed my mother and my mother-in-law a copy and am waiting for their call right now.

You have to admit I'm pretty active for a big guy!

Can you say m-o-d-e-r-a-t-o-r?

It's... um... er... different... and I'd love to hear what mom has to say.

Mom-in-law says I look thinner with my shirt on. My mom was still laughing when she called. She's forwarding it to the rest of the family.

Very cool, but you may have started a very ugly form of competition here. I'm sure gonna participate.

LOL

It would probably be funnier if I knew you in real life

It's actually quite amazing how accurate it is to real life. The only difference is I'm anemically thin.

Looks like you've got 3 moderators that have voted to get rid of it. That's a rather high percentage don't you think? (I voted to keep it moving, hehe)

I was horrified and left speachless. You look a lot like that Matt Damon in that picture, thats who I thought it was when I first saw it.

I think that you are Matt Damon and using a pseudonym.

...and I continue to be in shock. Points for the most noticable avatar, but I'm not sure I can look at VC while at work... It's one thing for my boss to see a Visor on the web page, it's another entirely to see chubby chippendale.

Interesting avatar, but I think you had too much control in the making of it. I find Photoshop results to be too sterile and cartoonlike. My avatar was constructed (with my wife's vital assistance) using some techniques we've worked out. The results are more spontaneous and much more lifelike. You should try it. The only downside to this type of avatar is the long processing time (up to nine months).
If you and your wife have problems with this program initially, don't panic, it'll work itself out in time.
Good luck!
Michael

Yep. Unfortunately he'll have to go. I'll put him in your anniversary thread. Back to the Native American images I had before (for now).

I'm not Matt Damon, and we tried your method, BobbyMike. I wanted to put my son's face there, but I found my wife's opinion to be quite...persuasive.

Ohohoho, I never said you were, just that you looked like him...but since you started by denying you're him it makes me wonder...

As for Matts go...hes an okay one (Once in my economics class we had 6 people with the name Matthew, it caused a rift in the time continuum & we all entered an alternate universe....populated by your former avatar, we swore never to speak of it again...)

The shirt was a little too confining.
