flash memory and new apps

I just installed an 8meg flash card on my visor and tried to install a trial dictionary(about 4 megs) in hot sync. The log says not enough memory. What am I doing wrong?thanks-
AG

You can't hotsync directly to the card, so you need to have enough free space on the Visor. Once it's on the Visor, you move it over to the card.

Rationalize This

Sometimes its easier to put the pdf and prc files directly onto the card using a cardreader. I have a $30 Memorex USB unit that reads four different formats that comes in handy. Just keep in mind that all individual files will need to be "byte sized" (pardon the pun) to move conveniently onto the memory of your VDX.

I think Gribou has an 8MB flash springboard module. Not much he can do without clearing out the RAM. That's what the module is for, right?
