Lightbulb

I would like a Springboard module that would read to me my ToDo's selected by category and priority and any daily appointments while I shave. I have no idea how much computing power or memory this would take, but I have an old program on my PC that came with a SoundBlaster that reads my e-mail for me and it lets me do other things while listening to my e-mail. It's also really funnny to listen to.

Talking

I agree. It would be great to have DOC's read to me while I drive. The only available way to do this right now would be to convert the text to audio on the PC (using one of the few text-to-speech progs). Then upload it into a MP3 player & jack in to the car stereo. Too time (& memory) consuming for me.

There is that wavplayer by MTI if I recall tho. Might be able to fit half hour or so of audio into that 8MB... would sound like crap though.

Now you're talking! In addition to ToDo's and appointments, you could have it read e-mails, docs, and AvantGo news articles. You could use the speaker when at home or driving and an earphone when walking or on public transportation.
