Question

Well, it finally arrived - Visor Deluxe and Handspring's Slim Leather case...
Now I don't know your opinion of 'slim' but I was basing my expectations on the Palm III cases. The Handspring one doesn't measure up at all. The Visor attaches to the case with a fixed piece of plastic (basically another cover sewn into the back) and the front cover seems overly stiff and thick too.
Now this will be great for protection, but it's not really 'slim'. The standard slip case that comes with the VDX is OK and if you leave the plastic cover on, reasonably protected too.
Has anyone found a real 'slim' leather case that will take the VDX. Just a Palm one with the velcro strip lower down would seem to do to me.
Does anyone want to buy the thick-ish but well protected Handspring case from me..? If not, I think I'll be sending it back and making do with the slip case until I find a real slim case.

I ordered the 3com palm III thin leather case that attaches with velcro. a friend has one for his palm III and it as thin as a case will get for one of these devices, and quite sharp lookin i think. the real kicker is, i got it from accompany.com. the price was $16.95 with free shipping, and at checkout i entered the gift code 'giftguide' and received a $20 discount. so my total was 0.00, and when they tried to get confirmation from my credit card, it was rejected because my CC wouldn't accept a 0.00 hold. so i had to upgrade shipping to actually make the purchase have a dollar amount. in the end it cost $7.40, which was the price for 2 day UPS. This is the best deal i could imagine, and i think it's gonna be a nice case to acompany my rhinoskin ti cockpit.

Sorry RowdyMan.... I only just checked back in this thread. I sent it back before Christmas I'm afraid.
I bought a cheap copy of the Palm case by Sumdex and I wouldn't recommend it.... The business card poket has such thick stitching on it's edge that it marks the screen...
Thank goodness for WriteRights..!

The promotion 'giftguide' at accompany.com has expired. Anyone have a new one?
