Lightbulb

Now that VisorCentral have different people writing for articles for it, I feel that there is a need to have a picture accompany the articles. When I read the articles the first thing that I think is who the hell is Alan and who the hell is Scott. A picture or a note about the author at the end of the article would be nice. What do you guys think?

YES!!! I completly agree. I would love to know who these people are according to their VisorCentral Posting names. I do pretty much now, but at first I didn't, and it was frustrating.

on another note, i think if my picture was posted, Visorcentral servers wouldn't be able to handle the increase in traffic!!!

I think my avatar picture is fine enough. That's my best friend, Gack. (pronounced 'Jack'...long story behind the G instead of J spelling )

Actually, I'd like to see avatars for each article writer put up there with the article...

Thumbs up

I've been begging to have Marcus have a Staff section with a brief bio and picture of frequent writers. We're about to start working on a redesign for VC and it should be in there.

If you really want to see what I look like, here's a picture from my outdated personal website. I'm on the top row, 6th from the left (in the light brownish suit).

Maybe if I can get a good picture taken of me I'll use it in my opinion articles.

well, the breeder that we got him from had a system to help him remember when his dogs were born. Each year had a letter and seeing that there are 26 letters, the odds of 2 dogs being alive at the same time and having the same letter is pretty slim to none (a dog living 26 years is not too common). Each dog in that year got a number added to the letter in the chronological order of their birth.

We had already decided we were going to name our dog Jack becuase the first time we saw him (at 5 weeks old) he just looked like a little buddy we'd call Jack (i know, strange, but i think dogs should just be called regular names...i'm not a big fan of 'Spot' or 'Killer'. I prefer 'Bob' or 'Evan').

So when we went to pick him up (at 8 weeks) we were told of his naming system so we decided to still name him 'Jack' but change it to 'Gack' since he was born in the year of 'G'. He was the 13th dog of year 'G' so he has a small '13 G' tattooed on the underside of his ear! Good identification!

And that is the story of 'Gack'. I had this story up on my website (personal) but the site came down last year when i switched my ISP and I haven't really had time to put it back up.....hmmm...maybe this weekend?

Why not have your better half use the Visor/EM2? You gave it good marks.
