VisorPhone + regular Visor

Are there any issues with VisorPhone and a regular Visor? I see that most people here have the Prism with a VP and Handspring recommends the Edge, Prism, or Platinum with a VP. Is this because of the RF issues?

Thanks!

From the VisorPhone FAQ:

quote:
Q: Does VisorPhone work with all Visor handhelds? Will VisorPhone work as a world phone with any Visor handheld?

A: Yes, VisorPhone works with all Visor handhelds in the United States. If you wish to use your VisorPhone as a world phone, you should purchase a Visor Prism, Visor Platinum or Visor Edge and check with your service provider for international roaming services. While VisorPhone will work with the 2 MB Visor handheld, Visor Deluxe and Visor Solo in other countries, Handspring strongly recommends using VisorPhone as a world phone with the higher-end models which have been optimized for communications modules operating on the 900 MHz radio frequency used most often overseas.
