here i am saving my pennies for the new treo and then apple goes and does it again:

Have to wait for the firefire version in june though.



btw, the new music service seems to be the best out of a bad lot.

They're very cool. If you're a musician look at the 20GB Archos Jukebox Recorder or the new multimedia recorder as you can use it as a recorder also on the fly.

You mean the USB version, right? I thought the Firewire was available before the USB.

But not all firewire cards are created equal. Atleast for the ipods. On the apple ipod discussion boards there were several reports that some cards didn't work right with the winpods when they first came out.

I already have an Ipod (20 gig) and firewire card, but I gonna wait a little while before I upgrade to the 30 gig.
