1. When you click on a link in the e-mail notifying you of new posts or you click on the little blue arrow icon in the list of forum threads, you can sometimes be brought to an empty page. I think this happens because one or more of the posts in the thread is from someone on your ignore list, and the 'last page' calculation does not take that into account (e.g. the last page of a thread might be 3 if none of the posts are ignored, but when some of those posts are ignored, it's actually 2)

2. You probably should not be getting e-mail notifications that someone has replied to a thread you are subscribed to if that person is on your ignore list.

3. It might be a good idea to put an icon for 'ignore' next to the 'buddy' icon, so it would be just as easy to add someone to your ignore list as it is to add someone to your buddy list.

IT also might be good, if you are being ignored, if you know that. Like if somebody tries to add you to their buddy list in ICQ, it tells you (actually asks you, but here you don't have a choice)...

Hmmm...actually, that might lead to some offended 'ignorees' sending flames via VC's 'e-mail member' feature. However, it would be a good idea to see how many people are ignoring you, so you have a chance to mend your ways before everyone ends up ignoring you. It might even be a good idea to show this number in a new 'Ignored by:' field under the current 'Registered:', 'Location:', and 'Posts:' information, so everyone gets to see how many people are ignoring you.

I'd still like to see a "Top 10" most ignored list..

That would be funny if I could read it, but since you are on my (and everyone else's) ignore lists, I can't.

I wonder if you can add your own name to your ignore list??, but then again, if you are *actually* considering this, you should probably seek professional help (what a statement that would make.. )

Cool Well...

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the entire VC staff decides to hunt me down, take my 'puter, and chain me up simply to keep me from posting here altogether

Trust me, other sites have tried it, but none have succeeded.

Now I'm being really nit-picky, but as long as I'm at it, it would also be nice if the 'view new posts' feature didn't show threads that only have new posts from ignored members.

Hmmm...after trying the ignore feature for the first time this morning (on a mental deficient who shall remain nameless), threads started by that person seem to have totally disappeared. Are you sure that it doesn't already do that?

Yes, but I was referring to threads that were started by a non-ignored person, but that only have new posts from ignored people.

Hmmm....

I guess I'm nameless then.

Wonder what would happen if I tried sending that person a private message?
