Unhappy Visor beaming does not work

I have a visor prism, but cannot beam anything towards a visor deluxe or receive anything from them. What is wrong?

beamfunction is on
beaming interups although there's plenty of memory en the distance is just a few inches apart from both visors

can anybody help?

Thanks

Lightbulb Have it replaced while you still can.

Hey,

Maybe irmonitor is causing problems. Do you have a clock speed accelerator installed? That could be a problem. Did you do a warm reset and see if you can beam? Also a hard reset may get rid of the problem.

A warm reset will disable beaming. A soft reset is necessary to re-enable beaming after a warm reset is performed. I would suggest moving the pda's 6-12 inches apart. I've noticed with the visor Dlx, Platinum and Prism that I've owned, having them too close can cause problems. Also, try to stay away from flourescent lights when beaming as this could also interfere. Have you dropped the unit? If so, it is possible that the IR has been damaged.

Just a few suggestions.

Question warm-hot

us a warm reset the same as a hard reset, or something else. I'll try out your tips of distance. And no I am not using a clock acellerator

Talking solved!

solution was simple! distance should be >> than 15inches. Then there's no problem
