With the announcement of the m505 I've been thinking about replacing my Graphite Visor Deluxe. While thinking about this I realized how much I will miss VisorCentral if I make the switch.

As far as I know, there isn't any Palm specific site nearly as useful as Visor Central. They have great discussion boards, great reviews, and up-to-the-minute news.

Who says you have to leave?

Cool

You mean VisorCentral doesn't have a sister site like Palm Boulevard and Visor Village?

no sister site that i know of!

you wouldn't have to leave, ash. A great deal of information on this board is based around the PalmOS in general.

besides, lately i've just been hanging out in the 'general chat', 'other handhelds', and 'off topic' areas!

I think that there is no reason at all for you to leave just because you're switching handhelds. Most of the problems with the Palm are also in the Visor, and vice versa.

If you want some sites to find out about Palms though, I would first start at www.pdabuzz.com as they seem to be one of the best for Palms specifically.

I didn't mean to say that I'd never come back to VisorCentral after getting a Palm. I just realized there wasn't a general interest Palm site that I like as much as VisorCentral. It'd be really nice if I could look forward to a review of the m505 from the staff of VisorCentral, but I doubt it's going to happen.

I've also been visiting http://www.palminfocenter.com/ recently (good info, but the site loads slowly when busy or fails completely) along with http://www.pdabuzz.com/ and http://www.pdalive.com/ and http://www.palmpower.com/ . I haven't found one I like as much as VisorCentral.
