Here is my problem...that no professional at Handsping could help me with (even after 3 hours of phone time long distance to CA) Anyway....I use palm desktop software when I Hot Sync. EVerything works fine except when I go and view my datebook on my PC the view by day and view by week comes up with yellow fields with thick black lines running through them. Everythign else is perfect, I can evenb view by month perfect.

Anyway, after installing, uninstalling, downloading new software, borrowing other software and about $100 of phone bills, I requested a new visor. Has anyone else had this problem???

PLEASE HELP ME!

The yellow shaded boxes indicate that text is contained in that time slot, eg. an appointment. How far do the yellow boxes appear? Like, into next year? It sounds like there is some phantom "event" that has repeated itself in every day. Is it only in one time slot or in every hour of the day? Is the icon for "repeated event" showing? Maybe you can try deleting the "event" and eliminating the line. Look in the Notes box on your Palm desktop and see if there is some repeated event that you can delete.

It is a weird occurance. I have repeating events, but not all the events are repeating. And after a while the thick black liones clear off the yellow event fields and they go back to normal. It is very weird.

My new visor, cradle and software should be arriving today, so hopefully everything will be fine.

I just wish i knew someone else witht he same problem.

Good luck with your new Visor. You might try calling someone at tech support (and spend even more money!) and see if you can get them to figure out the problem and call you with the answer if you can send your old Visor directly to them. Some companies will do that if you have an odd problem or defective item.
