Question

I'm interested in the eye module for simple photos to include in reports. I understand the res is only 320x240 in color. Can the eye module handle photos indoors? Does anyone have any sample jpegs they can send me so I can see what the quality of the pictures is? Also, please post comments on your experiences and if this is even a module I should include in my bag of springboards.

Thanks,

Angry No way. . .

Hey folks, after reading messages (large majority are very, very negative) on the web regarding the eye module, I'm not going to waste my money. I can buy a $79 digital camera w/flash at Walmart that has better resolution.

Take a look at http://sundown-media.com/images.php4. Those are all of my eyemodule images to date, the good and the bad, un-photoshopped or otherwise manipulated. It works well enough indoors provided there's a good bright light in the room.

There seem to be two strongly divided camps over the Eyemodule... in one it is much reviled for its high price (for 320x240, fixed focus & exposure) and in the other it is well-liked. I like it a lot, myself - but I knew what to expect before buying and was comfortable with its limitations. Check out this thread: http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...p?threadid=5579

addendum
...Oh well. Never mind then.
